Are you looking for adventure or do you just enjoy the outdoors and meeting people? Well, you might just be the person we are looking for to be a camp host.

How it works: The purpose of a camp host is to support and assist groups that have reserved the various group camping areas maintained by Kern County Parks and Recreation.

Camp hosts are needed for the following group camping areas:

• Three campsite locations at Buena Vista Recreational Area in Taft
• Kern River Campground off Alfred Harrell Highway
• Greenhorn Mountain campground (midway between Glenville and Wofford heights near Lake Isabella)
